Don’t overindulge, find people to support you, join a gym, and run marathons in the morning. sounds like BS, doesn’t it? That’s the advice I recently gave to my sister after she got pregnant and was trying to lose all that extra weight. Guess what? It didn’t work; the only thing that worked was weed. The question is why?

Here is the thing, in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with being fat if it doesn’t affect your health, the issue is, society has programmed most of us to think that if you are fat, you are unattractive or you will die soon.

What’s your reason for choosing to lose weight today?

If you do it because you want to impress someone, you will fail, on the other hand, if you do it because you want to improve your health and feel good, you will succeed. So don’t try to lose weight because you want to look like Rihanna, do it for you.

The reason why some marijuana users remain fat and others lose weight is self-control; the thing is, while high, you will want to eat almost anything in sight. If you do that and sit on your butt all day, it is highly likely that you will gain weight, think about it, what’s in your fridge right now?

I’m guessing there is cheese in there, meat and other unhealthy foods that taste good, right?

Apart from eating too much, there are a number of reasons why you may be obese, for example, you could be fat because:

  • You don’t exercise

Skipping meals will make you fat, why?

If you skip meals, you body will go into “survival mode” meaning, you will crave sugar, carbohydrates, processed foods and other foods that taste good. Also, your body will store more energy in the form of fat because it thinks that you are starving.  The result of that is. Instead of losing weight, you will gain weight.

Brush your Teeth or Suck on Mints after Eating

The reason for doing that is to get the taste of food out of your mouth.

The good thing about mint is. It makes food taste bad especially while high, as a consequence of that, you won’t want to eat. Ever tried eating immediately after brushing your teeth? If you have you understand what I am talking about.

Avoid Temptation

I know. Pineapple pizza is just a call away, if you make that call or if you have junk food in your house it is highly likely that you will eat more than your body needs while high.

Instead of stockpiling your fridge with unhealthy foods, you should consider keeping healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables in your fridge. If healthy foods are expensive in your area, you should try planting your own garden if you have space.
